感謝本屆理事與常務理事的推舉與厚愛，很榮幸的當選本屆理事長，未來將本著創會理事長黃齊元總裁、榮譽理事長黃日燦董事長及榮譽理事長盧明光董事長多年對本會精心規劃，建立良好的典章制度與規範下全力以赴。

近年全球產業與科技的快速變動，台灣產業轉型的必要性更顯急迫，運用投資併購與私募股權基金是企業擴大規模與邁向國際舞台的重要策略。本協會結合了台灣投資銀行、國際律師事務所、國際聯合會計師事務所、國際私募基金、銀行界、投資界和產業界許多專業人士，藉由每年一度的併購金鑫獎選拔、定期主辦的併購學苑課程、併購與私募論壇、交流活動、互相學習及經驗分享而共同成長。也適時對政府提供諮詢與建言，對台灣經濟發展貢獻良多。

近年我以「大艦隊」的策略投資併購理念，帶領佳世達及志同道合的企業夥伴，加速佈局高附加價值產業，成功締造財務成長實績。更深刻感受到，唯有透過企業攜手合作與專業機構的支持與資源，將可協助台灣廣大的中小企業迎戰未來變局、建立轉型升級最重要的競爭力。

希望藉由協會的交流平台，為台灣建構一個更符合實務運作的併購與私募基金投資環境，協助更多的企業家與高階經理人熟悉並運用相關專業資源，齊心引領台灣產業在國際舞台上發光發熱。

I am honored to have been elected as Chairman of Taiwan Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Council (“MAPECT”) and would like to thank the current directors and executive directors for their support and confidence. I am committed to serving with my best efforts under the meticulously planned regulations and rules established by Founding Chairman C.Y. Huang, Chairman Emeritus Jack Huang, and Chairman Emeritus M.K. Lu.

With the rapid changes of technology and global economic, “industry transformation” has become an urgent necessity for Taiwan. To achieve the goal of transformation, I think that M&A and private equity investment strategies are important tools for enterprises to expand their scale and enter the international stage.

MAPECT is a platform connecting professionals from investment banks, international law firms, accounting firms, private equity funds, the banking and investment professions and various industries in Taiwan. Through our annual M&A Awards Ceremony and periodic M&A training courses, M&A/PE forums and networking events, our members are encouraged to learn from each other, share experiences and grow together. In addition, MAPECT duly provides policy advice and recommendations to the government, thereby greatly contributing to the development of Taiwan’s economy.

In recent years, through the strategic M&A alliance of "grand fleet", I have led Qisda and our corporate partners to accelerate the layout of high value-added industries, and successfully created financial growth performance. I profoundly feel that, through joint cooperation of enterprises and support of professional firms, most SMEs in Taiwan can establish their new competencies to face increasing complexity, uncertainty world.

Through MAPECT platform, it is hoped that we can assist a more practical M&A and PE investment environment for Taiwan enterprises. More entrepreneurs and industry executives may become familiar with M&A transactions as well as the function of PE funds and more appropriately use the professional services. Through MAPECT platform, we truly hope that the whole industry can collaborate with each other, leading Taiwan into a new chapter on the global stage.
